What began as a few people helping me attain a Quest item soon led to something grander as we headed up to the top of Blackrock Spire. It took a few wipes and some trial and error but we managed to reach Nefarion’s lair. Upon entering we came face to face with Lord Victor Nefarius. However, soon after combat began, Nefarious dropped his human guise revealing his true form Nefarion (aka Blackwing). Before long we managed to defeat the once powerful Black Dragon. Not bad for a couple of hours work and 2 minor hiccups for those not attuned :P
Now all I need is the last 5 pieces of elementium ore… sigh
Numerous objectives sent us all over Azeroth, some of which involved honouring the local dress code, pigging out, social networking and treasure hunts. The Achievement system was introduced into the game just after Brewfest ended last year and with some careful planning this achievement was earned soon after Brewfest appeared again in-game. All in-in-all, I think this achievement says it all – What a long strange trip it’s been – and here’s what we have to show for it – a 310% mount! :)
Grats also to Coolidge for his 100 mount achievement!
If you ever wondered what was behind the locked kitchen door above Attumen, that question was answered today as eight of us ventured into Kara to find out. Rumours arose of a new boss, as part of the latest stages in the Scourge Invasion and his name was Prince Tenris Mirkblood. A pretty quick and easy fight as we had a clear shot to him having cleared the boss below a few days prior.
